a brisk 51 degrees warming up to 71 on a rain scrubbed Sat morning.
Wngsprd, a John Deere tie rod broke? The fitting on the end or the whole thing?
just curious. Those are the non lube sealed for life fittings?
personally I squirt some Kroil every once in a while under the rubber lip, loosens up the old grease.
Much prefer a zerk fitting.

The end of the tie rod - actually, the base of the bolt that connects the rod to the steering sector gear. Seems to have worn out and allowed the tie rod to drop down.

68F and only .02 niches rain last 24 hours. Lookin to be a pretty day.

Will be mixing concrete for two ramps into my tractor shed, each about 9x12. Would like to get both done today, but realistically will be happy with 1.

Be safe
Have a great day

Good evening all. Had nice soaking rains early this morning through 1 pm, we needed some.

The pin cherry trees started blooming today, they put on a nice show covered with brilliant white blossoms. All the frog eggs have disappeared in my pond and no tadpoles to be seen either. There have been some mallard ducks hanging around the pond and according to the internet, they eat frog eggs. Didn't have much of a frog hatch last year either. The case of the Murdering Mallards.

Speaking of murder, we've gotten hooked on a UK serial TV show, Midsomer Murders, streamed from Netflix commercial free. The series began in 1997 and is still in production.

67*F and cloudy. I will be mowing for the first time this year when it dries out.

I've caught a few of those episodes...they are on the PBS series "Mystery". The Brits sure do nice murder mysteries!

After a drenching rain early morning (0300), Saturday turned out to be a very nice day. Mowed the fenced in section of the yard and, weather permitting, I'll mow the field today (mean later on Sunday).

46 degrees right now calling for a cloudy day with light rain.
Worked all day yesterday in the gardens and we have more to do today to finish up the planting
Heading north for next week so it’s a must to get this done. Black flies are getting real active.

50 and crisp outside. Today should be another 70 degree and sunny day.
Wayne, I remember the worst insect bites I've ever got came from New Hampshire black flies.

Good morning! Temp. 34F going to a high 61F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. A slight chance of rain.

We had frost last night. There went the tomato plants. Well, 50 of them anyway. The other 50 will get planted next week sometime.

I got the call I dread last Friday.....Time to go back to work... Holidays are over.:( I won't be online much over the summer, mostly on weekends when I am laid over IF I have internet access where ever I am. I hear that we might have some work up in Pickle Lake this year. Pickle Lake, for those of you that don't know Ontario very well is wwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy up North. North west of Thunder Bay, ON. About 10 hours by truck out of T. Bay.

55*F headed to upper 60's today. Lawn mowing is on the early afternoon agenda.

Yesterday's rain really brought out the green, and yes, the black flies too. Tis the season.

Sorry about the frosted tomato plants Looking4New. Pickle Lake is the end of the road! Maybe you can post some pics when you get the chance. Watchout for the mooses.
"Pickle Lake is a township in the Canadian province of Ontario, and is the most northerly community in the province that has year-round access by road."

Good Afternoon. 1245, sunny, 81F with 69% humidity. Forecast high of 83F and a low of 60F.

Margie just got off for a week at San Destin. There will be no time for fishing or sun bathing though. They pack every day of those conferences pretty tightly. I'm going out now to take down some old hog wire that I'm going to put up in the gourd patch. They will be running any day now, and I have to get it done. The old fence is pretty grown up, so I'll be doing some brush clearing to get to it.

Everyone have a good Sunday afternoon.
