Daugen hope everything goes well for your wife and you. The rain should hit you today and give you grass seeds a nice drink. Most all I planted a month ago came in and are flourishing now

a warm morning in Eastern PA, going up only a few degrees to 77 today. Rains which we expected last night never showed up, looks like New York got them.
Lot of grass seed in the lawn, hoping for a good soaker.

I am still somewhat stunned by reading the account in London of the two crazies who hacked the British soldier to death with meat cleavers.
Africa has come to GB. Not for discussion here, but just on my mind. Always reminds me of the ending words of Hill Street Blues.

Hope to bring my wife home from the hospital again today, after I get fitted for a hard collar for my upcoming neck operation. Needless to say, lot going on here
with not much time to use my new seven foot Land Pride field mower I just bought for my Kubota. The five footer would not cover the tracks and the results looked awful.
No time to mow everything twice. Have to finish the fields before my neck fusion in early June.

Am I having fun yet? :dance1:
But I'm still smiling and looking forward to giving my sweetie a hug, and maybe even swinging by the garden on the way home to cut some lettuce.
Nadene has been going nuts kept out of "her" garden. sigh.
I genuinely believe in no whining. So all is well.
Drew
God's peace my friend.

Another warm humid day, but I like those myself, being an old northeastern NC boy it seems normal. A cool crisp weekend coming, very unusual this late.

Still working on my deck, got the decking boards fitted yesterday and installed 2 of 700 or so screws. Now to get those screwed and fit my railings.

Seems I was wrong about the weather. Rained a bit overnight, and they say we have a real threat of hard rain, hail, and possible severe T-Storms this afternoon.

Got a busy day at work and then I need to hurry towards home and sneak into the back of a large auditorium so I can watch my daughters sing, and one play violin with her symphony class... Looking forward to seeing them perform...

I'm gonna try to follow Drew's guidance, no whining, so all is good here too.

Be well all,
David

Drew,

1) - Me too...
2) - If you need help after surgery, I can come up, crash on the couch and mow your fields for you, just let me know...
3) - God Bless you & Nadene with full an complete healing.
Be well,

Drank all my allotment of coffee for today. 61° with clouds and light rain this morning. Heading to 54° with more showers all day. Glad I decided to wash windows after all yesterday. Warm enough and no sun to dry them before squeegeed. Need to dig out the warm cloths again for a few days.
Good Morning All.

Good morning! 76˚ heading to the 90˚s, partly cloudy. Yesterday morning the wind was slightly blowing from the north (>5mph) but changed by noon and the humid warm gulf air is back.

During the lull in the wind I burned my brush pile and worked by it all day. In the ravine area at the tail of my pond, I was on the tractor digging and pushing clearing brush having lots of fun, got carried away and it was dark way too soon. The ravine will back fill with water when the pond water level rises. I'm supposed to be digging mesquite but turning a small brushy area into a park is way more fun. This morning I am sooooo sore but still smiling.

Txdon: Try to stay on task.

Drew: You are tough as nails, gotta hand it to you.

This prolonged wet spell we are having with no sunny breaks is probably not good for getting pollination on the apple blossoms which are about at their peak now.
