Good morning!!!!

Good Morning! It's 63° and very foggy here BUT, I'm in Spicewood. It was clear and 71° at the ranch when I left there at 5 a.m.

I'm sitting at the LS Dealer, waiting for them to open ... I brought my LS XR4155HC up to RCO, for some warranty work. I hope to pick it up in a couple of days, as we're getting spring time busy at the ranch.

Hope everyone has a safe, no contact day.

Prayers to all.

Say HI! To my neighbor.... he drove down to RCO yesterday, napped in their lot, so he could be there first thing this morning. They are taking care of the loader issue for him. He is driving a white F-350 with a green landscaping trailer.

Good morning to all! Low of 38, going up to 62, but it will feel a bit colder because of forecasted 50 mph winds for the next couple of days.

Busy weekend, between son’s projects, neighbors projects, and my own. I got all of the field cut yesterday with the new mower. No problems at all. Then, of course, had to clean all of the dust and grass clippings off. Surprisingly, the knee got really sore just sitting on the tractor....???... vibration? Keeping it bent too long? Strange to me...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! To Sophie and BEF’s dad.

Riptides, nice tractor and beautiful place you have!

Thomas, I think you are going to have a lot more competition for the tractor than you thought you would.... could be a good or bad thing....

RNG, I hope you don’t have to go digging for another leak.... hopefully it is just the temp change. When I ran the gas line on the new cottage, the daily temps would vary the pressure as much as a few pounds up or down. I ended up leaving the gauge on for 2 weeks and monitoring the daily readings, both in the morning and evening. As long as it went up in the afternoon, to close to the same reading, I felt it was ok. It never really dropped lower than a given low pressure.

You guys sure are busy.... I am sure I missed a bunch of stuff...

Everyone have a great day!

Well morning to all hope this Monday finds all in decent health.
Spring was here for a couple of days last week sure wouldn't know it today.
Only dropped to 26F last night now a whopping 31F with the wind a whistling and snow flakes flying.
I'm in what is referred to as the Hudson River Valley so only 1 to 3 or 4 inches today and tonight forecast,
more as you go East or West of me with 3-6 or 6+ forecast.
Not much to worry about snow tires still on the vehicles and chains still on tractors.

Best to all on the various endeavors this week and going forward.

36 and raining- usually get a few feet of snow over winter here, probably only got 3" total.
My coworkers friend just died of Covid-19 up in NJ and I had a friend die last week of a heart attack. So it's not been fun.
Been out doing clearing work, raking , chipping branches, cutting up dead trees, all helps me stay centered during the close down of the state.
Getting a lot of spring cleaning in the yard done on time, but week of rain coming.

Mostly, Lactose Intolerance. Dr mentioned that as one possibility. May be a good time to try not having any. Just need to figure out what to use with my Raisin Bran. Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Cranberry Juice, water or eat it dry. :confused3:

Applesauce is always good.

Oat milk is very good and easy to make:

1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if GF // or sub steel-cut oats*)
4 cups water (use less water for thicker, creamier milk!)
1 pinch salt
1 whole date, pitted (optional // for sweetness // or 1 Tbsp (15 ml) maple syrup)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

2 Tbsp cocoa or cacao powder for "chocolate milk" (optional)
1/4 cup fresh berries for "berry milk" (optional)
How to Make Oat Milk (Perfect Every Time!) | Minimalist Baker Recipes

Most stores here carry oat milk in the milk section.

Also good in these times the oat milk contains 5mg of zinc. (Remember you should get 11mg per day.)
Your Raisin brand has 2-3 mg zinc per serving.

37°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 51° today.

Our Governor put the state of Illinois in timeout this weekend, too. Of course, you can still go wherever you want, but lots of places are closed. I ventured out to a couple of places to pick up some stuff for The Wife, but stayed home most of the weekend ... which is pretty much how I roll anyway.

Got the flagpole re-erected Saturday. The Wife's nephew had installed it last summer in about 10" of concrete. Small wonder it didn't blow over long before it did. I went down about another foot-and-a-half. It's not going anywhere now. Changed the wipers on the F-150, as I'd noticed the passenger side was flapping in the wind when I drove it last. It was a little chilly with the wind Saturday (mid-40s), but not too bad a day to be outside doing stuff. Intermittent sunshine actually made the Carhartt coat a little warm. Was good to get out and knock some of the outside items off the honey-do list.

Sunday was cold and rainy, so I piddled around in the studio most of the day, while The Wife watched a couple of movies and worked on a quilt project.

Kyle, some of our oak leaves drop in the Fall, but most hang on until Spring. If the weather forecast holds out, we're planning on this coming Sunday to round them up and set them ablaze.

Mostly, I'd still love to ride the Katy trail from St. Charles to KC. Unfortunately, not sure that's ever going to happen.

We got a notice from Chewy that our shipment would be delayed, too, wngsprd. We were worried that we might run out of cat food (dogs were OK). But then it showed up about two days later. Ours was just the regular schedule, but it was delivered on-time.

Nice new tractor, Thomas. Congrats.

Happy Birthday to Sophie.

A cloudy 25ºF for today's low temperature; 27ºF presently; and I anticipate a snowy afternoon with the high temperature ~30ºF. The NWS issued a Winter Storm Warning for this area this AM. It’s going to be a heavy snow due to temperature. I would not be surprised to see ~6”.*Light snow started falling ~9:30AM and is accumulating. I did not get much sleep last night due to Mr. Buttcheek’s complaining. The heating pad seems to be helping. *A good day for hunkering down, sedentary activity, watch/count birds throughout the windows, and take a load off Mr. Buttcheek.
Wifey is threading the needle today between the two waves of anticipated snow as she had a scheduled OT appointment (not cancelled), and needed to pick up a couple of our prescriptions, food, and supplies.

Happy Birthday Sophie and Mr BEF senior. I wish you both many more in health and happiness.

RNG- Did I actually read that PG&E pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter(s)?

Thanks to all for sharing the pics and experiences. Makes cabin fever almost enjoyable:rolleyes:

I hope that everyone is having the day they anticipated and that we all manage to avoid getting sick.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

We've had really nice spring weather for a few days, cooling off now, winds teens and 20s with gusts to 40-50.. some rain expected as the storm crosses over the state.

Wife had trouble sleeping last night, she was hoping I would sleep in this morning (first Monday I have not had a job), but I forgot to turn off alarm for this morning.. I was sleeping hard when it went off.. of course going back to sleep didn't happen so went ahead and got up.

Grand daughter is still on early schedule so she is up before 6am usually.. She likes to let me know she was the first one up every day.

Still waiting on test results for daughter. She is doing much better, but is off work until doc clears her to return to work.

Stay safe, prayers for all.

Have a great day
