Strong thoughts prayers shall continue.
I received an email this morning, accepted for voluntary career transition (retirement), last day is March 20, 2020. Lots to do before then, lots to do after.
Just got word that my FIL (who was in car accident 8 days ago and is still in ICU) has pneumonia, his oxygen level was 83 and they were suctioning crud out his throat.. he is doing better otherwise. SIL is doing great, started PT.. Thanks for the prayers and positive thoughts.
I'vee been following the posts, but have been really busy being a domestic worker, chief cook, bottle washer, and chauffeur for SWMBO. A lot of the posters here are familiar with my current challenges, but sooner or later Wifey will get her strength and range of motion back. For a lot of reasons her broken wrist/arm is mending slower than anticipated. The ice situation here has complicated matters as well. I致e bought more de-icing chemical this Winter than ever before. Hopefully after this 2 day "cold snap" the temperatures will warm over the weekend and allow for more seat time managing the ice. Weather-wise I believe there will (hopefully) be a pattern change midweek next week and there might be a snow bearing coastal storm rather than the mixed precipitation events I've been getting most of this Season.
Congrats Hawkeye, on retirement! Prayers for FIL.
Ted, beautiful furniture.
Buppies, no snow here either...close but no cigar...radar says it IS snowing but not reaching the ground, I guess.
I thought the Whip was a front seat dog...more room in the back, I guess, and you probably get tired of fighting over the radio station.
Jay, didn't realize your wife was still hurting...prayers said.
Buckeye, hope you are OK. No GM post since tuesday.
ahh, I don't have my e-mail listed, I thought it was PM. Now I don't feel left out.
Good morning! 42˚F rain and more rain and it will stay in the 40s all day.
Time to hunker down Drew, or you will be slip sliding away.

Good morning to all! Low of 26 currently, only forecast for a high of 36. Surprisingly, there is a heavy fog outside and a very fine drizzle, but nothing seems to be freezing. I confirmed my outside temp and compared it to the wunderground reading, that one was lower by a degree... strange there is no snow or sleet at the freezing temps.....
Drew, sorry to hear about you winter weather... sure seemed like spring was there already! Do not push the snow blower too hard, you definitely do not want to aggravate your neck pain.
Bruce, mmmmm, coffee cake... a favorite accompaniment to.... well, good coffee :licking:
WNG, you would be all set with your fresh roasted beans if you had some of Mostly s coffee cake....
Today s agenda is taking wifey down to the city for her nail job . Gotta keep her claws in top shape..... they come in handy for that occasional itchy spot I cannot reach:dance1:
Then I get to go to HD or Lowe s to pick up the hinges and metal sheet for the end table doors. I might get a chance to start making the rough cuts for them today. I got a few coats of finish on the tables yesterday, today I will get the final coat on and get them buffed. Here are a few pics of them.
Everyone have a great day!
