Good morning!!!!

Went out and cleared out the driveway again. I had to refuel, so I pulled the tractor out of the garage, lowered the box blade, and refueled while she was warming up. Jumped on the tractor and attempted to plow some drifts out of the way. I got about 10-12 feet forward and I started spinning the tires... WTH?.... engaged diff lock.... just spinning, digging into the stone, making holes. Will not move more than a couple inches forward or backwards... just spinning. Dumped the bucket and rolled it back to help push out.... nope, still spinning and now I am digging another hole with the bucket... WTH?

Then the bell went off and the little voice inside said YOU DUMB A** ..... I forgot to lift the box blade back up. It made a nice 5 ft wide trench right out from the front of the garage about 6 inches deep, about 10 ft long..... the fresh stone that was put down a couple weeks ago in front of the garage is now in a nice pile , along with 4 holes from the tires spinning, and a nice big gouge from trying to use the bucket to push out....

Nothing like making more work for myself... pushed the stone back, of course mixed with snow, filled all my divots. By the time I cleared the rest of the drive, the sun has now melted all the snow / gravel mixture. There is now a nice big muddy patch right in front of the garage.... oh well...

removing the hidden dog deposits on the driveway. This snow was wet and heavy making for nasty shoveling. I believe medicinal strength libation will be prescribed for Happy Hour.

A snow blower is real good at relocating dog piles.

Medicinal strength libation, is that some 'shine?

Ted- I wish that I could post that I never forgot that the box blade was down. I hate looking at my tractor "oops moment" reminders. The ground surface is frozen solid here. I did nick Wifey's Forester's front bumper a couple of plows ago with my BB. :embarrassed: She was not happy. It's no worse than some of the parking lot nicks she's/I've gotten. Apparently I got a little too close. :(

Bill- Thanks for the laugh.:D I think I had the toplink adjustment set just right for poopy scooping;) I actually have a bottle of really decent "shine" from NYS. Tonight it will be some cheap, but decent Texan vodka instead.;)

Lots of IP recipes out there Wng, maybe start with one from the cookbook that came with it?

As for the ads, have you tried AdBlocker Plus? I use it, and have never seen an ad on TBN... Oh, and it's free.

My IP (amazon) did not come with a cookbook or much of a manual.
So far I just google for recipes

RNG, thanks for suggestions. I'm using a very old laptop (son's hand me down), with only 2meg of memory (and only 18 gig of HD left) so am reluctant to install anything not absolutely necessary. I have been going through old trail cam photos and videos and deleting everything but the best to free up HD space. I probably need to delete some of the older Turbo Tax s/w...I still have the programs back to 2012 on the HD. I've never needed to go back and look at anything more than a year or two old. Sure thought this PC would've died by now, but keeps on ticking. :crossfingers:

Get you a 2 or 3 TB USB backup drive (Costco has on sale frequently) for pictures.

I feel your pain Buppies... hope biopsy is a quick negative. Always worrisome, like what's next? Good karma for good results.

Rick, looks like a fun project.

no real surprises at doc's, though I thought my neck was worse than my back and it's the other way around. Some bulges in neck area but
no herniations; lumbar canal totally blocked at site of 20 year old operation at L5, who knows maybe it all collapsed there and plugged things up.
Physician's Asst looked at me and said no wonder you were having such problems. So it's really clear a lumbar operation is in plans, probably in April.
Can't be ignored, how you become a paraplegic from a simple fall. Plus I knew it was coming.
So life goes on, I take some pills for awhile, and I'm sure I'll have a successful back operation.
First they are plugging me up with epidural steroids to get the inflammation down.

I'd rather think about my flowers...and life goes on.

Life is an adventure every day.

Hawkeye, prayers for your wife's dad and sister. Sounds like a real bad collision.

Randy ... good news on your ECG! Do you feel better than before your procedure?

Day and night! Thanks for asking Rick. It took about ten days to see much difference, then it was like flipping a switch.

Not sure how much rain we got, my flow meter has been acting up since a short power outage last weekend. Still 56°, but that is about to change tonight. But we are no longer behind on YTD rainfall.
Had monthly breakfast with my friends this morning, always enlightening. LOL

After my blunders with the box blade, I was hesitant to go out in the shop and work on the end tables. I figured if I messed anything up, I could fix it. Did the final nail fill on one that was assembled, then started sanding all the pieces/parts of the second. Got them all done.

Then, I smelled someone cooking something really good....:licking: mmmm... seems like it is coming from the house.... had to go look and see....

That is all for shop time for the day.... time to eat...:hyper::hyper:
