Checking In:
I am driving a brand new Suzuki mid sized SUV; I would have preferred a rental with at least a few dingers; this vehicle is in pristine shape

We arrived at Villa Caletas without incident which will be our base of operations. On our way we discovered that the "Man eating crocodiles of the Tarcoles River" has become a real tourist trap unlike the time before when I posted pictures.
I am enjoying the Christmas pictures you have all posted. I do not know where the VC staff got it, but they are putting up a Christmas tree today.
Randy- Your deforestation and subsequent park setting project is awesome.
Thomas- I recently purchased an Olympus TGE-6 which is waterproof down to 50' and has decent video capabilities. I'll bet playing with it this week. It has more capabilities and functions than I can comprehend at present.
RNG- Everything we have travel-wise is black and we are always losing stuff in plain sight so now I have an aqua colored daypack and Wifey has a plaid suitcase for starters.
Ted- I am sorry to read that your Christmas lighting put more strain on Mr. Knee. That iguana may be Paco the resident iguana or at least it's offspring. I'lll be hanging with him at cocktail hour (sunset) at the amphitheater later today. I will leave our bags outside to freeze when we get back home just in case we acquired some CR critters.
I/We appreciate the + wishes.
Time to take a swim in the infinity pool overlooking the Pacific ~1000' feet below.
