Good morning!!!!

Yes, I tend to have to remind myself what day of the week it is...

I also need one to tell me when some "Holidays" occur.

For example, today (Monday the 10th) is "Commonwealth Day" [as in the British Commonwealth of nations]. I only found this out as Government offices are closed.

Of course they are.

/ Good morning!!!! #204,304
Good morning,

27° now highs mid 50’s and sunny today. Winds W 10-15 mph.

Yesterday was semi productive, took the plow off and put loader back on the BX. Played pick up sticks until the temps softened up the ground.

A couple of errands this morning and then whatever comes along.

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe and healthy

Coffee is brewing. 28° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 63° with plenty of sun. Did some yard cleanup and other outside task. Of course a Sassy walk. All I have to do is say the Walk and she is at door ready to do it. If already outdoors she starts heading out past the barn. No real plans today. Neighbor is coming over Wednesday to install garage roof.

LS, special prayers for you and Dona.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

31 heading to 65.

Ken, prayers for your dad and uncle.

Prayers for Ted and Dona.

Kyle, perfect clock. Hope your mom is doing okay after her fall.

Ron, interesting looking feeder...don't recall one with a roof like that. Our goldfinches are getting color back, too.

Mostly, saved only about 15/mo. We live in an area where it seems only one company has a strong enough cell signal.

Took Della on a hike and swim, and did my son's taxes. Will do mine next. Helped my wife, who is still sick.

Good morning, the low is 26 and going to a high of 37°F. Wind W 11 mph. A mix of sun and cloud.

We got about an inch of snow yesterday evening. There is not enough to plow, but I still have some clean up to do here. The hard packed snow gets wet with the melting temperatures and I want it gone. It is the hard packed snow and the rain that messed me up last Thursday and I got stuck in it. $150.oo winch out by the tow truck later and I was out.

That is my day planned out.

Stay safe all

good morning all
I bet Bill getting stuck in the snow is particularly aggravating...at least only thing hurt
is wallet and pride. The joys of winter...

66 degrees and sunny today, the forsythia just has to pop in this.
have some food shopping to do this morning, then will turn on outside water and work
in the garden.

29 outside this AM, upper 60's expected.

Spent most of the weekend outside with the wife. Biggest burn pile ever. That's all I need to say.

More today. Real jobs are rudderless. Lots of changes and well, people are losing their minds and track of time. Since I have lost my mind a while ago, water off a ducks back. Serious though, not a good time for a lot of people.

Here is hoping this week is better, for all. Be safe.

Good Morning,
Vt, 32 to start going to 46 ! Mostly clear skies and it looks like some warm temps in Ct this afternoon! I think about 60 degrees, so that will make truck cleanup much easier and enjoyable!

We will be heading out fairly early because we have to pick up our youngest sons kids from preschool this afternoon and keep them overnight because our DIL has an away conference and our son is working ! So more kiddo time later today ! 😉

I got the shop cleaned and straightened up a bit yesterday afternoon. Looks like it will be awhile before we get back up here again ! And then we will have a couple of friends up so it’s doubtful I will get much of anything done in the shop. At least I got a little work done out there ! Also in April, I hope to rip up the PT decking and replace it with Trex ! All time consuming jobs !

Hope everyone has a good start to their week ! 🙏

Good Morning! 33˚F, W wind clear skies heading to 80˚.
Yesterday was not quite a busy as last weekend but still had a good crowd at the "farm". I only transported about 400 people and had only one full trailer. I need to talk to management today about reducing my hours, I know they will be disappointed. Here is a pic of the last full blooming weekend.

Morning all, 44 going to 65 and sunny.

Did get some more branches up and restaked a few tree cages.

Took dog for a walk and socializing at peddlars village, they have cut down one of their central trees, wonder if it was sick.

Coronado is an island off of Sandiego, it is mostly military bases with a small town, with some very expensive houses. Attached by a long bridge to the north and a short bridge on the southern end.

I do see buds on the forsythia, looks like they will open soon if the deer don't finish them off.

Saw a guy propose to his gal in the gazebo at peddlars village, she said yes and we all cheered.

Be well,

20250309_134601.jpg

Hard to see, but a few 30+ foot branches fell in the back yard area away from the house, along with all the fallen trees, almost all are down, still a few to go.

Good morning to all who celebrate! 39° going to a high of 67°, sunny, some frost on the truck this morning.

Prayers for all those facing illness, difficult to read about, but I'm praying for good outcomes for all!

Weekend was a busy one, white pine fell up at Grandma's cabin. Missed the cabin by about 4". Grandpa was definitely guiding that one. Their strange neighbor wanted the wood, bucked into 9' sections and then the rest bucked into firewood. I took one look at the tree and knew I wasn't going to be the one loading those 9' sections onto his trailer by hand.

500i made short work of the pine, like a hot knife through butter. By the time most of the help arrived, pine was already bucked up and the logs rolled off to the side for the neighbor to collect later. I did not partake in the sweep-up, having lost my breakfast from grunting those logs onto the side. Trailer for the tractor looks better every time I have to move something heavy by hand. Was rewarded with a hearty vegetable stew and ham sandwich.

Speaking of tractor, hydro oil was not needed, but the oil will need changed. Only off by about 50 hours. Whoops. Oil filter, replacement oil, funnel and drain pan on order. Will replace this week. While doing research on locating dipstick, found out that the front axle of tractor could potentially be low on oil as well. Need to check that and then pick up oil for that potentially. Parents shove off for the seashore this Wednesday, so I'll be left to my own dangerous devices. Dad doesn't want to invest in a mini-ex to dig the stump out "That'll make a mess." Ok, don't blame me when the grinder launches a wood splinter through the sliding glass door then. Plan on some plywood and packing blankets to protect siding and doors instead.

Today we're buttoning up loose ends before heading off for the two day manager's meeting. I'm sure this will be...interesting.

Remaining items: Potentially purchase the mower, replace tractor oil, pick up suppressor, get through this work week.

Have a great week y'all and stay safe out there!
Prayers for those ailing and recovering and especially those caretaking! It's no easy task!

/ Good morning!!!! #204,320
Morning all;
It's been an interesting past week and weekend.
Got results from a PET scan, a couple of "hot" lymph nodes likely from my previous prostate cancer so waiting for a call from Oncology for the next step on that. Had been scheduled for a new knee today.
But, that went by the wayside after getting the scan results, so canceled that surgery. Then woke up at 2AM Friday with stomach pain that wouldn't subside, so about 1PM went to urgent care, and they sent me to the ER which took the typical long time to get anything done. The end result was being admitted to the hospital and having my gallbladder remove yesterday now waiting to be discharged to home.

Especially with such a nice day outside, the sun shining 42F heading to 50F and a nice week forecast.

All stay safe and/or get well
