Good Deal????

I spent the day hitting all of the area dealers on the different makes. I have been looking for a 25-30hp, fel, 4wd, 6' rear finishing mower, box.
My local Kubota dealer quoted:
L2800DT
$14400 with loader add $1000 for hst
$1600 for 6' Land Pride rfm or $1400 for a Modern
$350 on the box

So is $16400-$16200 a good price on this setup? I may opt for the hst.

That's a good price compared to Washington state, my dealer quoted me $16,400 for the L2800/HST/FEL.

Where was that quote from? I don't know exactly where you are located.... but you might also try WowCo in Baytown. They seem to be a bit less than some other local dealers. Although, it seems like a real fair price on the tractor and great prices on the attachments.

I'm in Silsbee. I got that quote from Universal Tractor in Beaumont.

I guess I need to get to Beaumont more often... I've never even heard of Universal Tractor!! I thought Beaumont Tractor (Maybe they changed names?) was the only Kubota dealer in the Golden Triangle.

Have you made a decision yet? Being in Silsbee you could run up to Jasper and check out Jasper Farm and Ranch... and like I mentioned before, Wowco in Baytown. The price seems fair... not sure just what they are going for around here.

They're still Beaumont Tractor-that's where I picked up my G2160 a few weeks ago. Jasper's a good place to deal with too-I spent some time in there looking at a TG1860 before I decided that I wanted the 2160, plus I drive right by Beaumont Tractor every day on the way to work.
