Good deal!

I don't post very often, not a big conversationalist, but I had to get this one out. I went to my local dealer the other day and came home with 4 new tires and rims. I was just going to pick up a few odds and ends, when he offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. Four Titan R4 industrial tires and rims for $1350.00! I didn't really want to spend the money, but mine are down to 60% remaining tread, so I thought I'd be crazy to pass this one up.

Was it really a good deal or maybe just an other symptom of OCTD(obsessive compulsive tractor disorder) LOL, 60% could last a long time no

1350!! That's a lot of money. Though I haven't purchased tractor tires so it might be a good deal relative to new prices. I am finding my front R4s wearing much faster than the rear which makes perect sense since they are smaller. Now you'll have extra rims?

And the fronts turn, whereas the rears just follow them...

In most 4 wheel drive machines the fronts are actually turning a little faster than the rears which means more slipping and more wear. That is why you are not supposed to use 4 wheel drive on pavement it puts allot of strain on the 4 wheel drive components.
