Kubota B5200 w/ 60" deck. Kubota B5200 Tractor (Diesel) With RC60-72 Mower Deck

What does this tractor lack that the newer ones have, other than new sleek styling?

I sold my B5200 when I bought the BX24 3+ years ago. I sold it for a little less, which was about the same price I paid for it 1984.

Mine was under 700 hours, I didn't see the operating hours on this one. I think a 60inch mower is ridiculous for it. I ran a 42 inch brush hog on mine and it would huff a little up hill in high grass.

Mine is in the pic with my posts.

Yeah, I wondered if it could handle a 60" mower. I'm looking for a mid mount 60" or 72" diesel & 4x4 that's affordable.

Thus, the advantage of the diesel (vs gas, i.e. the other thread about gas vs diesel) engine. The 13 HP diesel will torque up that 60" mower with no problems. That is what it's for, being a diesel burner. I would not give it a second thought.

$4500 is a good price. If it were closer to TN, I'd snag it as a second mower for my yard. $3500 would be even better.

Having owned this particular model for almost 25 years. I can tell you that a 60 inch MMM is too big for this tractor, diesel or no diesel. 48 inch is about the biggest I'd go with.

Think about it. The BX1850 has 5 more HP and is also a diesel and the max size for the MMM is 54". You have to get to the BX24 (nearly twice the HP) to go with a 60".
