..... of heavy pooper shooters along with their soil compaction. In my part of the country here's what the big confinement hog lots are moving toward. Drag-Lines from pit to field direct....for spreading that liquid manure along with it's noxious odor. :yuck:

The theory is that is if you get it directly underground, it will stink less and it will be less likely to run off when it rains.
They use it for cow manure around here (which smells much better than pig manure).

Several zip lines have popped up across Minnesota over the last few years, each one has it's own high point. All they need now for this one is to market it with a catchy eco-vacation name like....stop and smell the kindness at the new ......'PETA Pork Run' . :)

The units I have seen do not use a reel, just several hundred feet of hose being drug behind on the ground. Yes there is a large pump located at the pit pumping the liquid gold through the hose.

Another big benefit is time saved: No more hauling 3500 gallons at a time now it is an almost continuous flow being knifed in.
