JBM, Please keep us updated. I just last week picked up an old used EZ-Go cart with the two cycle engine. Got it for my father to get around the place the 4-wheeler was getting more than he could handle. The lift kit was one of the first things I started looking at.

JimI, looked a an EZ-Go cart the other day with a dump bed. The dump us an electric ram. It did not look as heavy duty as the old one that came off my old satalite system. Got me thinking in a hurry.

My Jacobsen T2000 (same as old EZ-GO GT8, I believe) has a 1500 lb electro-hydraulic pump and a 12" cylinder that can lift the load in the 2000 lb bed. It's an absolute "horse," and I once used the bed to pull my Ford NAA out of the mud by tying the 3-wheeler to a tree and attaching a chain to the lifted bed. When I pressed the DOWN button, the hydraulics groaned and out popped my Ford Jubilee. It will really surprise you.
