Glow plugs

On a John Deere 2030 is there a position on the switch to pre-heat the glow plugs ??

2030 does NOT have glow plugs.

2030 does NOT have glow plugs.

The only time there may be exception to that is if it is a Manheim built 2030. Then it may have a thermostart system. That is an intake heater that drips fuel on the "glowplug" to heat intake air. Those models had a separate starter switch with 2 positions. Turn switch half way to preheat in cod weather and turn switch all the way to engage the starter. If it is a Dubuque built 2030, you are correct, there is no "glowplug"

Mine is Dubuque built. It has the external coolant heater, which I use in cooler weather and an ether port, which I never use.
