Glow plugs won't come on when you turn to acc/run. Checked fuses and changed relays around since they are the same. Put new lamp timer on and checked all connections. Will light up for the 4 sec. when you turn to start. Other instrument lights come on put not glow plug in run so assume switch is good. Has one wire hot going to timer but none out. Wire diagram not actually same as book for some reason. Its a 2000 model I think. Starter doesn't kick in without crossing solenoid but know if problem is related. Worked at it long enough to consider you a genius if you can tell me the problem. Thanks.

When I had that problem it was the ignition switch. Replaced it and everything now works. They can lose contact inside the switch case. My tractor was much older, a 1970.

You said u swapped relays. I'm assuming R3 with R1. Do you have 12v on the brown wire of R3 when you turn the key.

Forgot about this. Was the ignition switch mod ever done to the tractor. There was an issue with too much current taking out the switch. Many of us purchased starter sol to bring in and fire the sol with the ign switch. Been a while, you'll have to search. But checking th brown wire I talk about will let you know if R3 is getting juice.

Another thing. Check the neutral safety switch. If u have a clip to clip laying around you can unplug the switch under the fender and jumper it to see if that's the issue.

Isn't the light run by the timer and gp s run by the ignition switch? There's a sticky on the switch on this forum - common fail point. Good luck.
