Mine just quit on my CK30 with only 118 hrs on it as well

I lost mine at about 50hrs on my '05 3054. Replaced it and it lasted about 15 seconds. Called the dealer; they showed up and changed the three glow plugs and the 15 second old indicator;it's still working at 160hrs:confused: Although I've never used them, either Wallace or DePratt does online sales

I am a Kioti Dealer in Yorkville Illinois and would be glad to help anybody out with parts needs and questions.:) I have bulbs in my inventory now for a CK30 and LK3054. These bulbs are inexpensive. Actually they have the same part numbers. They are not difficult to change either. The upper cowling needs to be removed enough to gain access to the rear of the instrument cluster. The bulbs are located in the rear of the cluster. I can give more detailed directions if needed. For more info and if you would like me to send parts to you, contact my email, rayb322@yahoo.com. Thanks and we look foward to hearing from you.

The indicator on the 3054 is an inductive wire "pig-tail" that glows when energized, not a bulb, but the instrument cluster does need to be removed to access the indicator

The pig tail on my 3054 appeared to burn out but the next time I started it, it glowed. Last time it was dead again.

Now to my question - if it's not glowing, are the plugs still heating up? Anyone know the answer for sure?

If the "pig-tail" is not glowing, neither are the plugs. The "indicator" is just that;an indication the glow plugs are being energized. It is between the power source(battery)and load[glow plugs].It is possible the ignition switch is defective in the glow plug position, but not likely. You can test this by removing the supply line at the plug closest the fire wall, and using a multi-meter or test light between the wire and [ground]while operating the switch to the pre-heat position.

I confirmed with Rick Wallace's part guy (Mike) that the pig tail is just a resistor, so it does not mean the plugs aren't being energized. They are in fact, but without the indicator, it is easy to over heat them and maybe burn up the plugs. They didn't have my part in stock but they will order it Monday.
