I just bought my L3710 and have a question about the glide shifting. When pulling the bushhog or just riding down the road it shifts just fine. Yesterday I decided to do some discing with my little five foot disc set and noticed that the tractor did not shift as smoothly when pulling the disc. Could pulling the disc make a difference in the way it shifts? It seems as though the tractor hesitated a second or so before shifitng. Just curious if this is normal or not.
If it helps any, being paranoid about damaging equipment, I usually back off the throttle as I shift, even though the owners manual doesn't say you have to do that. Thanks!
