This pop-up issue has been going on long enough. It's ruining the forum experience. This is the only site I have problems on. I'm sure it's only about the almighty dollar to the owners but I'd be willing to pay. I'm sick of it. Other issue is I can't paste here. It's not my devises, it's this website. I'm on an iPad or iPhone. Every other forum is fine but this one won't allow the paste button unless I try literally 20+ times.

This place has an incredible amount of knowledge and I'd hate to miss out on that but can you fix it like it was a month or so ago?

What has to happen for this to be resolved? I'm sure you wouldn't care about a member leaving so threatening to stop coming would mean nothing to you and I'd miss out on some helpful posts.

I for one would hate to see you go. Hopefully someone with the high tech experience can help you out.

I guess I'm fortunate,I never get any pop-ups or notices that they were blocked.

I have no experience with Apple products, but I've found Adblock Plus to be quite effective on Windoze and Ubuntu platforms - I usually run Firefox.

You might take a look at the next thread down (http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/news-feedback/339178-forum-update-test-out.html) which discusses the new skin which gets rid of said popups.
You might also look into upgrading from the Safari browser to Chrome and installing the AdBlock+ extension. Pages will load faster and you will use less data.

I tried it when they first released it. Don't care for it but it seems better. Can't see which threads I've posted to, still got ads due to most threads not being moved over and don't know how to see what forum chapter the threads are in.

They added a link to the "user control panel" now so you can see your subscribed threads. Still no way to see what forum its in yet.

What browser are you using?
Just download another one and use that.
I run all three - IE, Firefox and Chrome.
Usually have them all running at the same time and switch back and forth depending on what I want or don't like about a website.

He is using Safari on an iPhone or iPad. Not quite as much flexibility there.

Friends don't let friends use an apple! :)

I don't drink the apple kool-aid, but I've used this on my PC and Windows Surface Pro 3 Tablet and not seen pop-ups, so it has to be something apple-specific or apple browser-specific.

I use Firefox with adblock on a Mac, no problems with TBN popups or anything else. I use the TBN app on an iPhone 6, no problems with popups or anything else.

I had the same aggravating problem on my iPad and was so close to swearing off TBN. I spent the $.99 on an app called Weblock and it has been great. No more aggravating pop ups. Get it and you will be happy!

We are not intentionally serving any pop-ups and are working with the ad company that is causing it, to remove them completely.

During the day, I know I should be working, but I use the Forum Runner app to access TBN on my iPhone. No ads show up at all.

rusty is right, and the suggestions are missing the point. It's a relatively new thing that started within the last few months. I used to be able to browse the forums on an iPad and had the same exact user experience as on my computers, which is the way it should be -- the iPad is completely capable of handling a full website. But then a few months ago, these popups started appearing on the site when viewed from an iPad, and they are obnoxious and poorly coded. They cause a page to re-size multiple times and follow down the screen as you scroll. Trying to dismiss is a crap shoot, since you have to tap a tiny "X" and not the ad itself. Something is not right.

They are more or less like the static banner ads seen on the TBN forum under normal conditions, which stay out of the way and are acceptable to me -- no need to block. Except on the iPad, they became floating ads that follow scrolling. My opinion is that it's just poorly coded ad display scripting, which is trying to handle the iPad differently when it doesn't need to. The older static ads worked fine on the iPad.

I too, get the popups that start at across the bottom and float up and down in your way.

This is only when using our Ipad and Safari. I thought apples were supposed to be somewhat immune to the BS.

Thanks. It's frustrating to say the least. For some reason my copy and paste is working tonight. Thanks for working on correcting this!

This is 100% spot on and what I'm experiencing. Every page has it. When you close it out, look at a thread, press back to get to the main page it's already back waiting on you.

I did too. My Pop up blocker is on thru safari but it's no match for these super aggressive ones. I will never buy a Nissan due to the frustration of their ad techniques! Lol
