Kubota B2650
I'm moving and need to sale my Kubota 2650HST with loader and backhoe. It has almost 400 hours on it. I am not sure what price I should ask. I bought it new. Any suggestions?

You should be able to get darn near what you originally payed for it, as long as you've maintained it (via records) and there's no damage other tan fair 'wear & tear'. 400hrs is just 'broken in'.

If it's a 2013 and Tier 3, I'd ask for more.

I purchased it in 2017.

I did that, but either they have cabs or no cab and no backhoe.

Go to Tractor House and view the applicable models and asking prices.

Here's my experience. And I will preface this by saying I would start at what you have in the machine and work my way down if forced to. I had a green 5310, 2002 model w/FEL, grapple and forks that I bought new. I wanted a 5090 so I parked mine in front of my property by the road and hung a sign on it. I wanted $26,000 for it. Had multiple interest in it but mostly people wanting to get a steal. So the time came I had to do the deal on miss out because JD basically has no tractors to speak of right now. So I traded it for $23,500. Fast forward a month and my tractor was in and got delivered. They picked up my 5310. Two days later I get a call from the new owner because I had the shop manual and a bunch of parts that I wanted to sell whoever bought it. When he came to pick up said items he told me he gave $26,000 for the machine and got a 30 day 50/50 warranty that he was going to use to get the starter replaced. The dealer had to change out the gage cluster because the fuel level meter didn't work. ($500+). So I was pretty much on the money with the price but ran out of time.

Dang, I want it. Too bad I don't have $20k lined up to thrust at you. Or a trailer to haul it home on. Guess I'll just keep dreaming for now....

Good luck with the sale.

Maybe I am crazy, but I was thinking that my 2018 B2650HST TLB with oversized and loaded tires and 700-ish hours next year (500 now) should get around $20,000 compared to the $31,000 I paid 2/2018 new. So I am thinking similar for you. I could be low on my guess, I guess we all figure that out as we try to find buyers.

A quick sell should happen at $17,000 I would think.

The backhoe was around $8,000 alone, and the base tractor was around $16,000, loader I believe was $4500. For me there was another grand added for the SU oversized wheels, oversized tires and the beet juice. And I added $1100 for a front remote hydraulic circuit. I don't really count taxes and KTAC charges, that is the cost of doing business.

So what is a 3 year old $31K unit with a few oil changes under it's belt worth? What someone will pay. Try $25K and work down from there based on interest or lack of it. You'll drop to a price at some point where you will set the hook and land the deal.

I got it from Barlows and paid about $28,000 for it. If I could get $20,000, I would be happy I guess. I don't want to undercut myself either. I owe about $10,000 on it currently. I also don't want to wait to sale it. This is a bad time of year to sell a tractor. Spring would be preferable, but I can't wait until Spring.

So clean it a bit, wash it a bit, take at least 8 photos on a clear sunny day with the sun to your back (move the tractor around, you keep the sun at your back for all photos) and list it for $24,000 or best offer. Every week or two drop $1000 until you find the price that attracts that buyer.
