Getting ready to buy....

For the acrege mentioned I would think that the BX would be all you would need. The B-2910 might get the rough work done faster but the BX would be easier to use when all the work is done unless you were going to buy another mower.

Murph,
You are onto something there. I have never understood how my tractor purchase came down, but talking from experience, KEEP YOUR WIFE INVOLVED! Out of nowhere, my wife got so excited about my tractor purchase, she is really the reason I have a tractor today. I would probably still be worrying about the money, if I was going to use it enough, do I REALLY need it, what will the neighbors think, etc. When I started getting close to a decision, she came with me to "negotiate" a deal. She demanded that I get the backhoe and "oh, while we're here, why don't you get that chipper over there. It's only $2,000". I really don't know what happened that day, but I know that I'm not the only person on this board that has experienced this phenomenon. It is a wierd behavior from some wives that nobody has ever been able to explain. Just try to go out and buy a new fishing reel..... You know what I mean. It's a one shot deal.... make the most of it.

Have fun shopping,
Greg
