It appears that some areas get plenty of rain and others not. Here in the Piedmont of NC, our creek was dry for almost 2 months until about 2 weeks ago when we received 3 days of good rainfall and one of those days we received 2 inches in 4 hours. The creek was up near the top of the far bank then. My neighbors told me that Penson Creek hardly ever dries up, and that this year's rainfall was the second least amount in years. It was really dry 16 years ago and then again about 7 years ago. The Counties west of us have received plenty of rain in the past several months while we only had hit and miss showers here in my part of Caswell County.Good news now though. I got back from visiting my kinfolk in Tennessee this past Sunday, and we have received substantial rainfall the past three days. Here's hoping that your area gets their water table level increased also. If I am not mistaken, my friends in Lavona Georgia told me that it was very dry in their area two or three years ago too. Good Luck. By the way, I have ascertained by your posts that you are a Good Man and that all indications lead me to believe that the both of us were raised in similar ways. Here's wishing that everyone has a Happy Day.
