Generator, 4 kw, for sale

My Suzuki (Sno Cat made) 4 kw electric start generator is for sale at $300. It served us well, but we now have a 12.5 kw whole house diesel generator in use. Got the Suzuki out of the basement of the carriage house on Halloween day when the gate people were installing the gate in the driveway. The guy said he might be interested in it, but I forgot to ask him before they completed the gate and left. I brought it up in the loader, put the battery (been on battery tender and showed charged) in and no start! Jumped it with my pickup battery, and it fired right up almost no cranking. Turned fuel off and ran carb dry.

I was looking into the Diesel genders also. What kind did you buy and did your get it with a enclosure?

If it were me, I'd keep it. Never know when you might need portable power.

I got my Isuzu diesel with enclosure from Central Maine Diesel. You'll find them on the web and several mentions of them in the forums.
