Nope Roy "Blockie" is correct.....slang for the owner of a block of land.
From memory originated when the government allocated Blocks of land to returning soldiers from the war...(WW1)........they became known as "Blockies"
The dried fruit is self explanatory
And welcome to the new member from downunder
What dried fruit do you do...........stone fruit...apples/pears..........or grapes and has the water restrictions of the last few years caused you problems or have you got a good allocation from the Murray?
