My MF GC2410 3 point arms go up, stay up, and I cannot get them to go down. They over pressure the system, and hydro oil blows out the seal for the 3pt actuator valve under the rear fender cowling ALL OVER.

I replaced the pin which actuates the spool inside the cover where the handle links to and the gasket for the cover. The system still over pressures, even with my pushing the handle down.

I am very sad. :(

Sorry to hear that!

Any possibility of a mechanical issue with the raise/lower control arm(s) & linkages? Perhaps a stick jammed up there holding control in RAISE position?

Linkage is all free. I have the rear fender and seat tore off and am able to see the entire linkage chain.

I am guessing this is more internal... sadly

Do you hear your relieve valve? Check all the linkages make sure they are adjusted properly. Also check for leaking hoses and connectors. Sometimes these leaks happen when there is air in the system. Make sure your hoses are connected correctly.

Relief valve is actuated and system is "stuck" wanting to go up even though I physically push the 3 point gray handle down. The system over pressures and blows out the cover seal where the linkage goes into the TX housing casting.

Is hydraulic line coupler in the rear completely seated?

Is it position control? Sounds like the feedback mechanism is out of whack. That is what would tell the hydraulics to stop raising.

Agree. Someone adjusted the feed back to get the three point to raise higher, or the feedback rod is either, bent, broken or missing.

Yeah a malfunctioning 3pt can be dangerous so have a professional look at it.

sounds to me like you have the rear hoses looped improperly, swap to the other one and see if that works.
