GC2410 Temp Gauge Not Moving After Start

it should be running around 180F . if it runs cold it will wear the cylinders out a lot faster. the clearance will not be up to specs when running too cold or too hot. hares a cheap tool that can be handy, point it at the top of thermostat housing to get a good reading of the temp. https://www.harborfreight.com/121-infrared-laser-thermometer-63985.html

This is solved I hope. Was the temp sender connection. I checked to make sure the gauge was good by grounding it(went to the top like you and the Agco mechanic said it would). Then I cleaned the connection and made aure it was snug after checking upper (141f) and lower(121f) hoses were flowing through.
Now it registers the temp above C. Will test it full tomorrow.

Dealer mechanic was also very helpfull.

I believe the root cause was the belt flapping around because it was so loose.
