No pics of the bend. It would be hard to see anyhow. It would take a lot of scrubbing, paint and new decals for that. It just needs enough to have some tension when you set the front latch to keep it from rattling.

:shocked:How do you get that thing that muddy!?!? Must rain ALOT more where you live than where I do, and it has been raining alot. I think that pulley kit is a good idea too:thumbsup:.
Hey, Todd- I thought about a pulley system, too, until I found those wheels. On edge, it fits nicely against the wall behind my boat; in the summer, the snowblower takes its place. Horrible pic, but you can see one of the wheels there, under the Thomas the Train sheet...

The pic of the thing on wheels was just after I got it --used, can you believe it?-- and had sharpened the blades, greased it and washed it. It doesn't look quite so clean now, but not bad.
I try to mow only when the grass is dry (good luck with that this year!), then just use an air hose to blow everything off afterward. I suspect it's a matter of my having mostly sand (hey, it was free, what can I say...) for backfill around the house when I built it; it does get pretty dry. Doesn't make for a house-magazine picture-perfect lawn, but it's OK.
One other thing I do, which helps a lot, I think, it put 3 or 4 coats of Liquid Glass on the painted surfaces. That stuff is amazingly tough & slick; most debris will just blow or hose right off.
tx2310-- I think I finally got it! Sounds like you just decreased the angle on the part that goes down over the bolt studs from 90 to around 80-- then the tension will hold it on when the clips are pulled in. I'll have to try that.
