Well did ya get any seat time on it today?
I had lots of projects when I got my BX23 back in 2004.
Thy'ed been pilling up for 25 years.
Been at it for 4 summers now and still hain't got caught up.

well I got about 3 hours of seat time yesterday. We had company so that shortened my riding time.
I had 14 tons of gravel dropped a while back for a parking pad for the race car trailer. I was able to use th box scraper and the plain rear blade to spread it out, about 20ft wide and 30 long. Got it all level and parked the trailer there. It was fun, First time using a tractor like this and I am just starting to get a hang of the controls. My neighbor is a excavator and he was over checking the little rad machine out and he was impressed for the size. He gave me some pointers etc.... tractor works great. I had the back hoe on and off (simple) 3 point hitch was used for the two different rear blades pretty easy to get set-up. BUT the mower is a pain in the &$# to get back on. I must be missing something here.

So all in all I am happy with it, and this week-end I will start clearing some land and get ready for the fencing project I have to fence in about 2 acres. I think the POD will come in handy.

What problems are you having with hooking up the MMM. I have mine on and off a dozen or more times in the past months and may be able to give you some hints on the easiest way to do it.

I put my 54" mulching MMM on for the first time today, with the salesman's help. He's a great guy, excellent dealership. What a pain! I couldn't believe they expect you to hoist a 105kg steel deck up by hand, line it up with the hydraulic tabs, and precisely place a pin into the holes, all while holding everything lined up by hand. I've got a bad back, so I can't dead lift 105kg, and not with one arm. I needed another guy to lift (the helpful salesman) while I wheedled the pins in. The front bar locking pin is also really fiddly, as my medium sized hand barely fits between the front and the brush guard to get the pin in.

All in all, not insurmountable, but not easy either. I'll have to hoist the MMM with my hydraulic jack next time I try it by myself. I wish the hydraulic had an "installation" setting, allowing it to drop low enough to engage the pins withe MMM flat on the ground.

I did cut about .5 acre waist high weeds, and it cut beautifully. Yes, I know, I should be using a rear rough-cut mower, but I only have to cut my weed field about twice this year, then lawn next year.

I have taken my deck off many times and never had to lift it to put the pin in. The way I do it is make sure the adjusting knob for the height adjustment is set all the way down. I raise the PT hitch up (with the engine on), shut of engine, slide the deck under let the PT hitch down, make sure your speed knob is open or it wont move. the arms lower enough to where I don't have to lift the deck to put the pins in. I also never move my wheel setting. I cut mine on the 2.6MM height.

2.6 MM, that's about 1/10th of an inch Do you work for UPS because you like seeing so much brown?

I do it pretty much the same as mpegg. I turn the height adjuster all of the way down and then use the 3ph control to raise or lower the lifter arms. the biggest hassle I have is sliding the deck out from under the tractor. Difficult on a hard surface, almost impossible in the grass.
