GC2310 Pricing

I think that I recall the 2310 being approx. 45 inches wide at the back tires. This means that you will have about 4.5 inches outside the tread width on each side with the 54 inch mower. The 60 inch with give you 7.5 inches outside on each side. You have to account for the discharge chute on the right which isn't included in the measurements. I think it really comes down to whatever you think that you want. I love my 60 inch but I can't say that it is for everyone. I wanted the 60 so I could trim next to trees better with the mower sticking out farther.

Thanks for the size info. I think I am leaning towards the 60.. they have both in stock and I have to wait to get the unit prepped anyway. I think I will go 60.

I am debating to go and pick it up myself too. I don't want to wait. :( It is a 500 mile trip EACH way but will save me about a grand.

Can anyone get me measurements on this tractor. The manual states the width and length but what is the height? All I have is a 26ft enclosed race car trailer that I wanted to see if it would fit in there. Otherwise I would need to get my buddies open car hauler. I am just concerned with the height of the BH, mow deck can always be taken off and loaded separate if need be.

Thanks guys for all the help.

The height to the top of the ROPS is 86 inches. The backhoe height is less than this when loaded on the tractor. The ROPS can be folded so I wouldn't guess that would be a problem. I would be a little more concerned about overall length of the tractor. The BH can be removed in the hauler and then secured so that it isn't as tall. What is the weight that the race car trailer can handle?

Thanks you for the fast reply. The trailer is good for 7000 pounds, so that wouldn't be an issue either, looks like all will work in my hauler. Just need to see if I want to drive 1000 miles this week-end. :)

Is delivery inclided in the price?
I think I'd just let LEMONS go ahead and deliver it
That way the what for and woe fors are on them.

I guess if the dealer is so far away it is not practical to demo each unit. Obviously the 60" will give a wider cut than the 54", however one point to consider if there are hills, slopes, ditches, water run off trenches and similar elevations / depressions is that the wider the deck the more likely the cut will be uneven or that two passes will be required to get certain areas.

Well just when you thought I forgot about this thread I have an update!

I just got a call from the driver who is about 2 hours away from dropping off my 2310! It has been a long wait and that was partially because I wanted to get a post hole digger and didn't want to pay a separate shipping fee so I waited for them to get that in before the tractor was to be sent out. So Later today I will get some pictures and post. I am excited to finally get this. I just had my John Deere picked up yesterday and that wasn't an easy thing to see it go, but I know this is a much better and bigger tractor.

Thanks again for all the input on this thread.

Well here is a picture of the new rig. I will get better ones soon. I haven't had anytime to use it yet. I am hoping to get some seat time soon.

I do have one question and I am sure it is a dumb one. I don't know how to raise or lower the deck. Is there a lock feature on the mower so that you can raise and lower the 3 point that I am just not seeing? The mower engages fine just can't lower it. My manual doesn't cover the mower and they seem to have not given me a manual on the deck (if there even is one).

Thanks in advance.

On the left side on the floor is a height adjustment knob for the mower deck. If it is backed up to full height the deck will not go down. you can turn it to adjust your mowing height. If it is turned down, the mower is raised and lowered with the 3PH lever (grey) on the right fender. At least that is the way my '04 2300 is set up.
