GC2310 2350 Loader - toothbar

NEED A LITTLE HELP. WENT TO INSTALL A MARKHAM TOOTH BAR ON MY NEW GC2310 TRACTOR ON AND NOTICED A 1/4" TO 3/8" GAP BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE TOOTH BAR CUTTING EDGE AND THE INSIDE BOTTOM OF MY BUCKET. IS THIS HOW THEY NORMALLY FIT???

Mine too has a small gap between the two surfaces. In my case, it's possible I could have mounted the toothbar back a little further, but the overall fit was snug and I don't think it really affects performance. I haven't worried about it and it hasn't been a problem.

When you drilled your holes did you keep the top of tooth bar cutting edge parallel with the bottom of your bucket??

I lined it up that way (see picture). It came out pretty close, but not exact. Nonetheless, it does a great job digging.

Yes I am, but I won't say a 5-tooth bar wouldn't have done just as well...

When I shopped, many on the forum were recommending going with Carver's W.R. Long product. Since then, I think there's been a hearty endorsement for Markham's. I'm GUESSING that for our tractors, either would do the job, but since I only have (limited) experience with the one, I can't say for sure.

After I saw your post I called them. They are very friendly but are more $ than Markham. They offer a mini toothbar for the smaller tractor which is interesting.

Give them a ring, I was very happy with the knowlege of their product and patience in answering all of my questions.
