I have a gc2300 that I am running 15-w40 Rotella in. It's wierd everytime the tractor get warmed up good, after about 10-15 minutes of using it, the oil pressure light flickers on. What is really strange is that it only comes on when the front end is pointed down hill. As soon as I turn up hill it goes out. Anyone ever have this happen or know what could be wrong with it?

I use mine at all kinds of angles and never noticed this problem. I use 5W30 diesel oil however.
Is your oil right to the top of full?
All I can think of is that the heavier weight oil is taking longer to get back to the sump at that incline then the 5W30 does.

Yeah it is full to the top. I may have to try the 5w30 weight oil. I figured if it was the oil though that it would cause it to come on at any angle. Thanks for the tip , I will have to drain the oil and replace it. I just changed the oil a few weeks ago. Luckily it doesn't hold very much!
