I have a 2016ish XR4046. Roughly 600 hours on it. No issues w/it. The last two times I've bush hogged, the oil pressure indicator light has come on after about 45 minutes. Haven't noticed anything in terms of performance. Both times, I went ahead and shut it off, let it rest a while, checked oil levels, and it was fine (no indicator) when I started back up. It will eventually come on again, though. I probably am due for an oil change, but given the oil levels are fine, I wouldn't have expected an oil pressure issue.

I'm an inexperienced diesel engine person, but am willing and able to learn. What should I be looking for here do diagnose the issue?

Either put a real gauge on it to see if it really is dropping out or guess that the sensor is going bad and replace it. On a Dodge it would be the sensor 95% of the time and $20 to buy one. Have not had that problem on my XG with 850 hours so far.
It could be a bare wire to the sensor shorting to ground but I would NOT expect just a short break time to fix that.
Maybe a clogged filter but the bypass in the filter should prevent that.

Last thought how hot is it getting? My temp gauge is flaky so I added a engine block temp gauge. Might not hurt to clean the radiators.
