Jinma 244E (Europ model)
I am installing a parking brake warning light on my Jinma 244E (Europ version) and therefore took off the gauge panel(see picture attyached) by only unplugging the two plugs. After reinstalling and turning contact to on (without engine running) the engine oil pressure gauge went directly to maximum and after starting the engine it went to 0 and then again to maximum, where it stays. Have shut down after few seconds. Is this normal? Have checked the added wiring and don't think there is anything wrong. Can somebody help me?
Thanks and regards.
William

That sounds a lot like either a short or open connection. Check the wiring at the panel and also at the oil pressure sensor. Jiggle things around a bit while it is on and watch what happens to the gage.

And welcome to the forum!
