GAUGE INSTALL ON JOHN DEERE 3032E

the cost were $15.00 for each gauge plus shipping on ebay .the oil preesure sending unit was at a local marine store for $18 temp sender was $12 plus shipping from surplusunlimted.com the fittings and connectors i spent about $20 and the wire i already had and wire loom i had too.in my previous post i said about $75 but if i had to buy wire and wire loom i would say about $100 for all

I know this is an old thread but I just ordered/received the gauges and senders and I have a couple of questions. The water temp send is 3/8" FIP and apparently you used the 3/8" NIP 2 brass nipple and FIP tee for the temp sender (even though the photo doesn't show that?). But looking at the photos it looks like you teed off the oil pressure sender too. What is the diameter and thread size for this sender? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I'll send a PM. I can figure it out myself, but his knowledge would be helpful. I will definitely post progress and photos when I commence the install. As soon as I get this bathroom painted.

Thanks!! I'm taking today off work in hopes of finishing it. The kitchen is next, but I started these projects so long ago I'm embarrased to say. And my wife has been more than patient. :ashamed:

Looking at slayer's pics it's obvious it's a pre-DPF model. I can barely find anything on my engine because that DPF takes up so much room!! It's gonna be a challenge to do this without removing it!!

The water temp gauge fit in with a reducer in to thermostat housing if I rember right as for oil pressure gauge yes it was a tee to keep the factory oil light .as far as diameter and tread size I honstley don't rember Idid take sending unit with to match up sorry cant be more help
