Gator CX starting

My Gator CX won't start. The battery is hot and when I turn the key There is a loud clicking noise and the engine doesn't turn over. I assume it is either the selenoid or starter.
How can I check to be sure which one it is? The engine is a 10 hp Kaw. Thank you for any help.

Have the battery load tested. Check to make sure all conections are clean and tight.

My Gator just started doing the same thing. Even jumping it with my truck battery the jumper cables get very hot and it still just clicks or does nothing. Has anyone got any updated advise on this. I checked fuses and some wiring yesterday and will check the ignition "key" switch wiring today. Seems to be a direct short or something draining the battery. Any advise would be welcomed here.
