Gas Oven repair!

We have a DCS LP gas oven. Have had it for nearly 20 years, 5 burners, broiler, and oven.

For some time, the oven burner had a tendency to burn inside the flame tube, and it took forever (2+ minutes) for the igniter to light the gas.

Well, I ordered out a replacement igniter from an on line seller of OEM products, not "trusting" the appliance store service repair.

Installed this afternoon, the stove works like new! 15 seconds to fire up! My wife is VERY happy!

I had a similar issue with my stove and ended up calling a local appliance repair service https://sparkservice.us/ for help. They were great, came the same day and while I didn't replace the igniter myself, they fixed it quickly. As I don't always dare to repair everything by myself, it's nice to have a reliable service on hand.
