Garden Hose Woes

Have used several of the black rubber Craftsman hoses for more than fifteen years. Always left outside. Sometimes they do kink but I will put up with that for the longevity.

I still have the first ones I bought in 1990. They use a slightly different washer, so be sure to buy a couple extra Nelson washers.

Sears may sell them, that is where I bought my first set.

I've tried all types of hose's that are ' kink free, resistant, etc '.. Best I have found so far is Flexzilla that I bought on Amazon. It still will kink, but is the closest to ' kink free ' [ once under pressure ] that I have used without buying an extremely heavy hose...

Ditto. Same as always, ya get what ya pay for.

Anybody tried one of those "pocket" hoses "as seen on TV"? Great concept but I think they may be garbage:confused3:

If you are looking for a really good rubber hose, get a Craftsman hose, they are the best I have ever owned. One is about 40 years old and one is about 15 years old. Just purchased another Craftsman rubber hose for the shop. You really can not go wrong with these hoses. Bob
