Does anyone have a solution for stopping lenses from fogging up? Seems everytime I need to capture something all I get is fog. The only time they work OK is if there is a bit of wind and that is rare at night here.
Good suggestions but what I'm seeing is the light reflecting off spiderweb filaments that are dangling and swaying with the breeze. The same long dangling filaments I walk into, when I haven't gone into that barn stall for a few days. Sometimes with a tiny spider dangling off the bottom. Is it possible that there is a rat zooming by, and you are just left with a frame of spiderwebs? Most cameras only trigger on IR. Have you tried turning the camera 90 degrees?
Plain old Ivory soap will stop the fogging. Gel shaving cream works too.Does anyone have a solution for stopping lenses from fogging up? Seems everytime I need to capture something all I get is fog. The only time they work OK is if there is a bit of wind and that is rare at night here.
