Does anyone have a solution for stopping lenses from fogging up? Seems everytime I need to capture something all I get is fog. The only time they work OK is if there is a bit of wind and that is rare at night here.

Have you tried cleaning the lens with anti-fog agents? Available in all dive shops and online.

I have seen a couple of trail cameras with lens heaters in the past, but not recently.

Guess I'm lucky, no fogging yet. But spiderwebs are driving me nuts. The night-vision UV light must attract spiders.

This new Wyze $35 camera was ideal to learn what was making a racket under the house at 2am. (Raccons). And it works great in daytime. The ability to select a limited 'trigger' area and avoid triggering on blowing branches is great.

But the trigger-on-motion runs all night, seeing continually the bright glare of close-up spiderweb filaments. Bah.

Is it possible that there is a rat zooming by, and you are just left with a frame of spiderwebs? Most cameras only trigger on IR. Have you tried turning the camera 90 degrees?

Have you tried cleaning the lens and applying Rain-X?? It works on my truck's backup camera.

Had several different types and never noticed a problem with fog.

Good suggestions but what I'm seeing is the light reflecting off spiderweb filaments that are dangling and swaying with the breeze. The same long dangling filaments I walk into, when I haven't gone into that barn stall for a few days. Sometimes with a tiny spider dangling off the bottom.

Plain old Ivory soap will stop the fogging. Gel shaving cream works too.
