(Not the usual rotary alignment question.)
I noticed the cut on my mother's G1700HX was somewhat uneven.
Looking at the blades, the center blade is about 3/8" higher than the left, and about 1/4" higher than the right. Everything looks mounted properly- no washers between the spindle and blade, bearing housings mounted to the deck the same on all blades, etc.
The only thing I can think of is the deck itself is warped. I know the previous owner would force down the deck lever even though the gage wheels were set high.
The only way I can think to compensate for the difference is to install spacers as needed to bring the blades relatively even.
