Now I am really messing up. I blew a fuse playing with the oil pressure light and the coolant temp light. What amps are on these fuses? Where can I find these old style or do I have to put in a new block with modern fuses?

Thanks

One 5 amp fuse feeds all three lights.

I got inline fuseholders, crimped terminals onto the wires, and attached them to the screws where the old wire fuses were.

A better solution is to make pigtails ending with female blade terminals and plug modern blade fuses into this.

I think those old wire fuses were used on early VW if you want to look for direct replacement. Yanmar seems to share some Hitachi electrics used also by early Datsun (Nissan), so that might be another catalog listing for the authentic wire fuses.

I know this response is to an old post, just thought it might help. Tractor Gods were smiling on me. On the back of the fuse box is a small plastic container that holds extra fuses. Mine had 10 assorted 5amp to 15 amp wire fuses. Check for spares before replacing box.

You can also just remove the wire from a glass fuse and solder it in.
