Has anyone changed out their wire fuse box with a modern fuse block and standard fuses? It seems to me that it's the sensible thing to do to simplify changing the fuses. Just need to know what amperage to use.

If I'm not mistaken.. he has a 1700.
And I changed out my fuse panel with one from a jap car in the junkyard.. found a nice little one to tuck under the dash cowling.

Fuse Block includes 30A relay, 30A breaker, 3-7 circuits, hardware and terminals.

Oops, sorry. yes i have a 1700LD. thanks for the info.

I changed out the fuse box on my ym2000, found a 4 bus fuse block at orielly for 1.99 and a pack of fuses for .99. Used the same mounting holes and screws. By far the easiest upgrade I have done.
