My tn75 fuel gauge doesnt work, will a generic after market unit work with the NH gauge? I am assuming the factory sender will be millions like ever other part on it.

You will have to check a service manual to determine the resistance range. Also make sure if high or low resistance is full. Then you have to to determine if you can get a sender that fits.

The price of the sending unit will depend if it is a vertical reed switch type or a slide wire. I know the slide wire for my JD 5310 was $25. I think a reed type runs around $100. Just a precaution, it may be an issue with the gage and not the SU. I had to replace the entire gage cluster to get mine to work. I thought it was the sender but when I pulled it out it checked good. YMMV.

I'll certainly agree with checking it out before ordering anything.
I thought the sender had gone flaky on my Branson 8050 it was an expensive sender, $86.00.
When I pulled it out of the tank it was an electronic reed switch type and it worked fine outside of the tank.
Further digging found that mud dabbers had plugged both vent lines on my fuel tank so the balance line couldn't fill the second part of the fuel tank.
