I added about 4 gal diesel to the fuel tank, then ran the tractor for about 30 minutes before parking it. This morning I find fuel streaming from around the fuel filter bowl. It quits when the fuel lever is turned off. The bowl and rubber gasket are both ok and no indication of anything broken or cracked; but the leak continued when everything replaced - although possibly a little less after tightening the bowl on with a wrench.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I very much appreciate the help I've rec'd on this forum.

Does your filter have screw bleeders or a push button bleeder? The push button bleeders are known for leaking where the plug goes in the back.

try a new gasket
or your fuel bowl has a hair line crack on it
I had that problem once.

Along with the above, check the hose and clamp from the bowl to the injector pump. One I had was leaking there, especially with a full tank (more pressure).

You might also check to see if it is leaking along the shaft for the fuel shutoff.

Also, along with the mentioned check for hair line cracks.. look for chips in the mating surface, and I know you replaced the gasket, but look under the gasket for debri that may keep the gasket from mating to the bowl evenly.

All else fails, run to TSC and get a replacement generic one if you need it asap.. or order one from one of the dealers here if you can wait a couple days.
