FUEL GUAGE.

MT225E FUEL GAUGE HAS STOPPED WORKING,,TRACTOR HAS 300 HOURS AND IS 2020 MODEL.. I HAVE CHECKED IN FUSE PANEL AND IT IS GOOD THERE.. ANY HELP OR IDEAS?? T.I.A. FOR ANY HELP..

Is it always in dry storage? It could be as simple as the gauge is inop. Could be a sending unit in the tank, or the actual gauge.

If all fuses are OK, check the wiring to the sending unit on the fuel tank. Sometimes wires get pulled apart or damaged. With the key switch on, try grounding the signal wire on the sending unit and the gauge should go to full. If it does, the sending unit is bad. If it doesn't, the gauge or wiring is bad.

If you can get at the sending unit, fuel gauges are a resistance reading should be like 0 to 90 ohms. If you are getting a reading somewhere in there, your gauge on the dash could be bad

IT IS WORKING,,STARTED MOVE SOME TODAY..TESTED WITH A STICK AGAIN AND ALMOST FULL STILL..HAS 3 HOURS SINCE FILL UP AND STILL CANNOT BELEIVE HOW E Z IT IS ON FUEL.. THaNKS FOR ALL REPLIES AND PUT THIS IN FILE "IN CASE" FOR ANOTHER TIME..
