Just about every year people float away on a cake of ice in Lake Erie. I think there was talk of charging for the Coast Guard rescues since every year produces a new crop of idiots.

Growing up, we went ice fishing in the winter. For the adults, it always meant lots of beer being consumed... I don't think that has changed much.
