Haven't I read somewhere that a mixture of acetone and transmission fluid works great? Mebbe in a dream?

It was quoted on here from published test results as a better penetrating oil than all the commercial products. With some doubts I mixed some and tried it -- amazing stuff My mix is about half and half --- yours may vary

I work for a contractor, so I already buy industrial supplies from those types of places.. just never thought to look for kroil.

I'm familiar with brownells.. have bought from them before. I'm just trying to avoid mail ordering kroil.. you end up paying 2x to 3x for the product by the time you get it shipped..
