Hello, anybody know where the cheapest place is online to get a tractor tire? I need a ribbed 6.00 x 16 front tire for a '98 Massey Ferguson 231 utility tractor.

If you're near a Tractor Supply, they've got pretty good prices on front tires, and a decent enough selection. You won't have to pay shipping, either.

Hey thanks! Yeah I got 2 'local' Tractor Supply stores not too far away. Didn't even think of TSC selling tires. I'll give them a call...

Ok, I received an email reply back from Nebraska Tire. Total cost delivered to my door is $72... I plan on ordering this week.

Thats a good price. It that a tire and tube or tire only. Thats about what i sell mine for. 6ply tire and tube.

That is a good price. I just bought one at TSC Sunday. Waiting for one, unfortunately, wasn't an option for me. $99 for tire only.

Thanks, Soundguy. I checked out "Tucker Tire" on ebay, but is $5 more than Nebraska Tire for the same thing. They do have very good prices though....

i have ordered from tucker and had tires arive 2 days later.. already on the rim with tubes, all for no extra charge. even assembled them the way I wanted witht he rims dished so all i had to do was roll them tot he tractor and bolt on. ps.. you might want to 'waste' 5 minutes and call them.. they usually have unadvertised specials that beat their ebay prices. when i was looking they had some brand new blems with slight cosmetic defects.. I ordered a pair of new 13.6-28, with tubes, on rims and had them delivere din 2 days for less than 700$ most places couldn't touch that with a long pole.
