I will start off by saying I love my tractor ( LS4145) and all its attachments - when it is trouble free and working perfectly.
im not the most mechanically minded or sympathetic so when something stops doing what it should, I’m usually in trouble.

Today’s issue…….. our first decent snowfall and I‘ve taken off the loader arms and attached the front snowblower. Everything is hooked up like it should be ( I think) and I set off but there’s is no snow flying. Eventually it comes to me that the PTO shaft is not turning. The idiot light on the dash is on, and I have turned the selector switch on and off a few times. I checked the rear PTO and it is rotating.

I’ve spent the summer using the rear PTO with a brush hog attached.

Am I missing something obvious?

Isn’t there a lever on the left side of the seat that selects either the mid or rear PTO? Usually it’s one or the other. If the rear is turning, then I don’t think the mid can be engaged.

There is. I just hadn’t fully engaged it properly or something.

Snowblowing is in full swing now. Thank you.
