I plan to make a log splitter utilizing the front outputs on my Kubota M59 by utilizing this cylinder, and making an extension to the electronics on my joy stick to operate it.

I`m wondering if I need to add an aux. hydraulic tank for additional fluid or if my tractor has enough

Thanks!

Once you mount the cyl and operate it a few times, replenish the tank fluid to correct level.

Great point. I guess the quick connects will "trap" the fluid in the lines and cyl

Capacity of that cyl is 2.04 gal.

Thanks for providing the info! Really appreciate it.

What size hydraulic hose would you suggest for that cylinder ?

And do you happen to have the part # for the quick connects handy ?
I believe I need a Parker part to connect to my M59 quick-connects, not sure which though.

Thanks again :D
