I am trying to research the company(s) that manufacturer a Front Mounted Snow Blower for Kioti. It used to be manufactured by Woods Equipment however they are no longer as of 2018. Any help would be appreciated.

ps. Is there a Front Mount Snow Blower manufacturer that is considered superior to the others through user reviews or hands on experience?

Thanks for your advice.

I have the Bobcat snowblower. Can't recall who made it but it's a great setup. Every season I'm impressed at how easy installation is. I've put 4" LED lights on each side over the years and have plans to add a hydraulic cylinder to the chute deflector to command from the rear remotes. It's a great unit. Heavy. About 750lbs, I believe. Never seen the Woods.

I have a Meteor that came with my Kioti new. It was not cheap at $8,000.oo installed, but my neck and back thank me for it.
MK Martin | Meteor - Skidsteer
It says it is for a skid steer, but it is the same one that they use on the Kioti.
A word to the wise, they do NOT handle sloppy wet snow well.

I have the Kioti front mount on my DK40, it works well, the sub frame is a bit of a bear to get on, but once it's on, it stays on for the season.

The Kioti blower requires a mid PTO, which appears to be an available option on your machine.

I have one on order for my NX5510, supposed to be in next week. The previous model number was SB72. The model for this year is SB74a, so it may be a different manufacturer.

It'´s a bit of a none « regular » installation, but I found it really worth the trouble. I had to install a belly pto, front gear, modified the Martin snowblower, add a limiter on the loader Thatç—´ it (itç—´ a dealership setup/experience, of course!)

Trouble at first, but a real great set up, the pto strength compared to a hydraulic system for the ck20 is about 3 times the ability to throw the snow at a correct distance! You can attack any snow bank with ease, and twist your way around your propriety for snow clearance!

Erskine, among others, makes front blowers for many makes of tractors. It runs off your rear PTO. It is tractor independent, do not need a mid-PTO, and if you get a different tractor, you can mount it on the new one. here is a link ...

Updating my prior post. The old model was SB72, this years model is KS74-240FM. The manual that came with mine has a 8/2018 date stamp.

Kioti branding, but appears to be made by a Canadian company named Normand (Compagnie Normand | La performance attachee a vos tracteurs). Seems to be very nicely made. Runs from MM PTO, and the standard FEL hydraulics. Besides the special subframe, if you have a MM PTO, no additional mod necessary.

While loading on my trailer, we noticed the clearance between the hydraulic fitting and the SB was very tight, so we reversed the orientation of the hydraulic piston. If loading flat, or maybe onto a dovetail trailer, this is probably not necessary.

We haven't had as much snow this year as I had planned for, but here is a quick video. The 4 inches I was clearing is probably a pointless amount of snow to throw, but I wanted to try it out. It's not in this video, but the SB effortlessly took out a few plowed piles that were the height of the unit. Will post again once we get some deeper snow.
