With all this snow my little B5200 is feeling the hurt of 2'+ snowpack. With most pto driven blowers going for around $1000, I'm wondering if a front mount belt driven blower from a smaller tractor could be adapted to mount on the rear? The fab is easy however I am trying to figure out how to drive it by the PTO.

Thoughts?

It will most likely spin the wrong direction .

Most rear pto's are only 540 rpm. Are all the front ones that slow?

Fronts are generally crankshaft speed or 1000 rpm and turn opposite direction.
Not economical to change over.
